An Open Letter to the Fitness Industry

Hey there, Bedros here 🙂

There’s a lot going on around HQ these days.

We’ve got four full time workstations pumping in the office now and a handful of staff working from home.

I’m getting ready to head to Las Vegas to work with my 7 Figure Formula mastermind group this weekend. And then heading back to Las Vegas in two weeks to work with the Info Mastermind group that Craig Ballantyne and I are running.

Then we’re putting on a one day Fitness Info Marketing workshop (Fitness Info Blueprint LIVE) on October 17th and Craig and I (along with some really awesome fitness info marketers) will be sharing the secrets and tactics to creating, marketing and profiting from selling info product like DVDs, membership sites, and ebooks.

Hope you can join us in LV for Fitness Info Blueprint LIVE – if it’s not sold out.

In other news, Fit Body Boot Camp is rocking and growing at break neck speeds with over 200 location in six countries. Everyone wants to know when we’ll be opening up FBBC and accepting new territories.

Right now we have no plans of opening up FBBC anytime soon for new locations. We’re actively working with the current owners and making sure that each and every single one of them are blowing it up and giving them the first opportunity to open up multiple locations.

I’ve also been getting a lot of emails from trainers asking when Fitness Website Formula will open up again. The date is set for this Thursday morning. So hang in there, and if you’re one of the lucky ten to order your personal training or boot camp blog or site then you’re gonna get an awesome hook up. (more on that when FWF opens up).

The reason for this blog post is the open letter to the industry that I got from 7 Figure Sam a couple days again. Here’s what Sam wrote…

An open letter to the fitness industry…

My name is Sam Bakhtiar, many of you know me as “7 figure Sam”. I got this nickname because my personal training studio generates multiple 7 figures a year practically on autopilot.

Today, I truly enjoy the lifestyle and freedom that my business provides for me and my family. I enjoy working when I want, where I want and if I want.

I enjoy spending a week out of every month in my vacation home.

I like being the only father when I go to my 14 month old daughter’s Baily events. Other father’s can’t make it because they have to work.

I am proud that my wife doesn’t need to work and can stay home with my little princess.  Someone always told me “my kids will never see inside of a daycare”, and I wanted that for my kids.

I can tell you that my life wasn’t always like this. I used to work 12-15 hours a day, 6 days per week just to make a 6 figure income.

Before I became “7 figure Sam” I was “broke as a joke Sam”.

I remember the good ol days when I had to climb in my car through the passenger side door because the driver’s door didn’t  work.

I still remember the words  “I am sorry sir but I ran both your cards and they both declined” . This was at a restaurant on Valentines day. Somehow she still married me a few years later!!! I always thought that hard work and income are directly proportional.

I thought in order to make more money I had to work more. Soon I was walking around tired and needed more hours in a day.

I started building a resentment towards work, clients and the whole entire industry, until the day that completely changed my life forever. I don’t remember the exact day but it was summer of 2006.

I somehow must have opted in on a site and started getting emails from this guy name Bedros Keuilian.  I didn’t know who he really was but he claimed to know the personal training industry and how to get more clients, works less, and make more money.

My first reaction was that it ‘s a scam.  After all I was already doing 6 figures and who is he to teach me anything.

After deleting a dozen or so emails I decided to give this “Joker” named Bedros a try.

That was the turning point in my life and my business. It opened my eyes to becoming  a fitness marketer/entrepreneur and not a fitness “technician”.

Within one year of his coaching I no longer trained clients and I more than doubled my income.

One thing that I vividly remember from Bedros when I first met him other than his “bald look” he was sporting at the time, was when he said “Sam I have lost more money on marketing that I have made but now I know what works and what doesn’t”.

Think about that statement for a second. If someone has already made the mistakes that means that I don’t have to. All I have to do is learn from his knowledge. It’s a shortcut to success, and since then I’ve taken my personal training business to 7 figures.

I have made many mistakes over the years but the one I regret the most is not hiring a coach or mentor sooner – for me, it was the game changer. And If you’re an driven individual… I’m guessing that working with a mentor could be the game changer for you, too.

Hey, Bedros here again,

The email above was sent to me by Sam totally unsolicited. It’s something that he wrote from the heart and asked me to share with you. I’ve got to say that I’m pretty lucky that I get to help so many success minded trainers achieve their goals of financial freedom. Now I’ve I partnered with Sam and we’re giving back to the industry by teaching other entrepreneurial minded fitness professionals his exact, step by step business systems to build a solid 7 figure personal training business.

On November 5th and 6th Sam and I will be hosting a 12 person, one weekend mastermind right here in Chino Hills, CA. The last time we did this the weekend sold out in record time and those who came to the weekend mastermind we’re blown away. Soon we’ll open up the site to accept 12 new members to the mastermind weekend.

If you think you’d be interested in coming out to Chino Hills and working with me and Sam for a weekend and getting all the marketing, selling and refferal generation systems and strategies for creating a 7 figure generating personal training studio then let me know in the comment box below.
