Just Like the Movie Matrix

Have you seen Matrix the movie, where Morpheus offers Neo the red pill or the blue pill?

He says something like: You take the red pill and the story ends. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. On the other hand if you take the blue pill you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

I kind of have my own version of that - my own analogy if you will. I first shared my red pill/blue pill philosophy with my wife a few years ago.

Here’s how I described it to her: Basically we all fall into two categories - red and blue pill. People who are hooked on the red pill are typically influenced by the media, by economic change and live in a life of fear and scarcity. They believe job security comes from working for a big corporation and answering to the “man.”

If you’re hooked on the blue pill then you think a little differently. You see things that others don’t see and you most likely sign the front of the check and not the back.

This past February, at Fitness Business Summit 08 I shared my blue pill/red pill philosophy with the attendees. Now I want to share it with you so rather than going on and one about it here - I decided to post the video up for you to watch.
