It’s Time To Get Lucky

I love quotes. All types of quotes…

Quotes that make you think.

Quotes that make you feel.

Quotes that take you into deeper thought.

Quotes that make you rise and take action.

And quotes that summarize it all in just a few short words.

For me the two quotes that really summarize it all these days are…

1. “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity” – Seneca, Roman philosopher
2. “The harder I work the luckier I get” – Samuel Goldwyn

I got an email yesterday from Dustin Maher. He’s a fitness trainer in Madison, Wisconsin and this is what he had to say:

I hope you are doing well!  I had a neat moment… I was watching my testimonial I gave for you last year in May after the Fitness Business Summit and I had said that I have a to do list that I am confident will double or triple my income in the next year… Actually it was sooner!  In April I had made about 8-9K/month… Starting in June I was making 25-28K and now I am consistently making 35K/month just 9 months after FBS 09.

So thanks!

Dustin Maher
Personal Trainer: A.C.E (American Council on Exercise)

You can see Dustin’s video testimonial from last years FBS on this page – his is the seventh video half way down the page.

Dustin owns and runs multiple fitness boot camps in Madison, Wisconsin – not exactly the fitness capital of the world. And even in this economy he has more than tripled his income. Do you think Dustin just happened to be lucky, or did he get access to information that prepared him to take advantage of the opportunities he had available to him?

The reason I wanted to share this with you is because I’m still hearing a lot of people crying about the economy, lack of opportunity, bad luck, high gas prices, food costs, and how circumstances will be better for them when the economy improves.

Let me ask you a something….

What if this is the NEW economy?

What if things never improve past this?

What if things get even worse?

What will you do to survive and thrive?

The truth is it doesn’t matter how the economy is.

YOU control your micro economy.

YOU still have opportunities available to you. (you may not see them, but they’re there).

YOU just need the right information to help you take advantage of the opportunities available.

YOU just need to be better prepaid.

And when YOU are better prepared and armed with the right information YOU’LL get lucky too, just like Dustin Maher, and the hundreds of other fitness trainers who will come to Fitness Business Summit 2010 and get the information, motivation, hope, preparation, and action plan they need to seize the opportunities available to them.

1. “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity”
2. “The harder I work the luckier I get”

For me, these are the two quote of the week.

Looking forward to seeing you at Fitness Business Summit and giving you the information, preparation, and action plan to help you double and even triple your fitness business profits by this time next year.
