Are You Passionate about Personal Training?

In last week’s issue of your PT Profit Center Newsletter I shared with you the actual goal setting process that has enabled me to successfully achieve virtually every goal that I’ve set for myself. In fact the same process has helped many of my 12 month mentorship clients achieve incredible success within their fitness business.

This week I want to talk to you about passion and the critical role it plays in your business life.

Earlier today I was listening to one of my all time favorite business authors Robert Allen. On this particular CD he was talking about passion and how most people who are truly successful (and happy) in life are doing what they love and not necessarily what has a high probability of earning money.

In other words most successful (and I mean success in ALL aspects of life) are doing what they are passionate about. Interestingly enough the financial benefits come to them as a byproduct of their passion.

Isn’t that so true?

Here’s an example. Tiger Woods didn’t choose golf as his career because it pays well at the professional level. The man is absolutely passionate about golf. He thrives on the idea of competing against and beating the top golfers in the sport. He loves the sport. And as a byproduct he’s doing just fine in life.

What about you? What are you passionate about?

Sure fitness…but that’s way to general.

Be more specific.

Do you enjoy training athletes, brides to be, executives, children?

Do you prefer training in health clubs or the outdoors?

Would you rather train groups or one-on-one?

Look inside yourself. What are you REALLY passionate for? That’s really the only thing worth doing in my opinion. Don’t you agree?
