The Future Of Fitness. The Journey Ahead 2010

2010report

Here’s a special report I created for you where I share my thoughts on the future of the fitness industry, where we’re headed in 2010, and some general ramblings.

Some stuff I cover in this report…

  • The new face of personal training
  • The death of one-on-one training
  • Is facebook and twitter really all that? (you’ll be surprised)
  • The thinning of the herd
  • Health care, the “man” and your fitness business
  • How you need to position your business and why

And after reading it be sure to leave you comment below :)

Morton, dude, first off I didn’t remove your comment. I’m guessing it either went into the spam catcher or you’re Martin (another comment on here) which I did appprove and reply who I love BUYING ads on facebook but all other forms of “marketing” on facebook are a waste of time for fitness trainers (compared to what you could be doing.)

Here’s that comment and my reply again:

    Martin @ 5:38 pm

If social media is such crap, why do run an incredible amount of ads on facebook?

    Bedros @ 6:55 pm

Martin, just like I said in the report… social media - really Facebook - is good for running paid ads (like i teach in http://FitnessMarketingManifesto.com) but if you think you can hang out on facebook all day posting comments, images, taking surveys, IQ and EQ bullshit and stuff like that then you’re wasting a ton of valuable time.

It takes me 10 minutes to manages my facebook account. That includes tracking my pay per click ads and replying to comments.
Heck 90% of my facebook emails are taken care of by my assistance.

Great Stuff. It’s funny how really, it all boils down to the age old get people to know, like and trust you. This takes time, but i’m starting to see it’s worth it!

    Thanks Bedros!
All of your e-mails I have printed out and I put them in a 3 ring binder for future use. I plan on opening up a studio and I am so excited. I will buy your course because you obviously know what you are writing about. Other individuals would charge thousands of $$$$ for the free advice you give. I can’t thank you enough! When anyone ever tries to deter me from going into this business-I TUNE THEM OUT!!! I know this business is a very lucrative business and for me, I want to do this because I truly want to help individuals look and feel better. I have been working out for 28 years now. I am now 42 and I easily look like I am in my late twenties. There is no magic pill or magic diet. The fountain of youth is Fitness & Nutrition.PERIOD!!
    Thanks again & God Bless!

Thanks Bedros: It’s an excellent report that puts anyone in perspective of what the future most be, I’m working to start a Kettlebell fitness business here in Puerto Rico, what of your products do you recommend?
    Take care

I have read the report and I agree with it.

In the UK there are exercise on prescription schemes run by local authorities. They pay peanuts and its just not worth it. I am worth at least £25 per hour ($50) but these schemes pay a fraction of that and the paperwork is ridiculous.

Great stuff Bedros. I have been doing more 30 min sessions since I went to Fitness Summit. The response has been great for me and my trainers. Looking forward to starting the Fit Body Boot Camp in January. I am also going to be Sports Performance Boot Camps for athletes.

    Thank you.

    Bedros,

As always great stuff. Technically, I’m not even in your industry. But, what you have to say applies to what I do. I get more down to earth results producing information from you than most of the people in my own industry. I live close let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I loved reading the report, this stuff really fires me up. I’m full of ideas, wish I had more time to implement them… Better Time management is a goal for 2010!!

I’d love to do more group training, my gym is small. But am making the most of the space I do have and utilising the studio whenever it’s free.

Thanks for the advice Bedros, legend!
