The Truth About SEO

There’s a lot of false information out there about Search Engine Optimization. Lots of folks in the fitness industry are confused and are being misled about SEO.

So I asked my personal SEO expert (one of the really smart dudes who’s responsible for getting all my sites and blog to rank on top of the search engines) to make a video dispelling the BIGGEST myths and lies about search engine optimization.

Here’s the truth… no B.S. about SEO for your fitness websites.

Let me know what you think. I’d love to hear your feedback in the comment box below.

    Bedros -

    Very helpful information.

I need to hire a good SEO person and from what I heard here and saw on the Fitness SEO dominator website I am interested in potentially hiring Dave S. to help with SEO / Internet Marketing for my website FindAFitnessPro - a fitness pro and client matching service.

Let me know if you can put me in contact with him.

    Thanks,
    ANGEL

    Bedros and fellow fit pros,

Good stuff as always. One other recent change that’s been alluded to in Google’s recent algorithm change is that the stability of your domain matters. The longer you’ve had it the better. Similarly, it helps to go ahead and register your domain for several years in advance. Google checks this and knows that you are a legitimate site, so it helps your ranking.

Might as well do this anyway if you haven’t since you typically get a better deal on the price.

Very Helpful post! I recently had a web designer tell me local SEO was dead so this is a good to know.

SEO sucks so bad, worst part of running an online business - even if you know what you are doing. Best thing I got into was writing articles and getting them placed EVERYWHERE, tons of backlinks with good info attached. Still, such a time suck.
