Dude and your back and traps are crazy!!

This is huge advice as I tended to focus on the small details rather than on those big levers. I was always scared of spending too much (why pay someone money to post on craigslist when I can do it myself? etc) but now after following this I can see how it makes a lot of sense. Thanks

Bedros,

Another great video I’ve started doing that by putting online marketing and getting links on autopilot. I use to think I was super man by doing all the work myself but it just lead to me burning out very quickly.

I’ve spent a little more money on people doing some of the work for me but its worth it because they have experience dealing with the fitness industry and most importantly it gets done.

I’ve gotten so much more work done (especially on my workouts) by only focusing on what’s really important to drive my biz forward.

Val Fujii @ 2:24 pm

Hi Bedros,

This is enlightening as I have always heard of outsourcing, but wasn’t quite sure on what to outsource. Now, it makes more sense on what to o/s and what I need to FOCUS on.

Thanks Bedros. Keep up your passion and wisdon…its inspiring!

Bedros,
Great advice. Its hard to let go of some of those tasks when you are used to doing it all yourself, but a lot of time can go into those little tasks leaving the big important ones undone.

Jason Hodge @ 4:18 pm

Great post Bedros. One question. Where do you find someone to do your video editing?

Martone Fuller @ 4:31 pm

That is a great video. I pray that I can get things and other people to work that well if not better for me

Always a pleasure reading your post. Great information. Being a single mom of two and running my business this enlightens things. Thanks!

Bedros:

Great point on how to keep oneself from getting overwhelmed with the TO DO List. Other ways I stay on track is to focus on 3 things I need to get done to help my business each day, so that, over time, it adds up.

I also set aside specific times in my appointment book and set a timer. It gets me fired up to get the stuff done, knowing I have a time limit. I stay focused and avoid getting sidetracked with time stealers like surfing the net!

Bedros, hi - your wife was very nice to talk with on the phone regarding a fitpro question

When I asked her to give me 2 words to describe what its like being married to you - she said “how bout 1, overwhelming” and then we both laughed

anyway, do you have the name(s) email addresses of anyone who you trust (have hired for cheap also)on say elance or something that can write quality seo articles to submit to the proper directories???

bryan @ 6:13 pm

I couldnt have got a piece of paper and a pen out fast Bedros,

Great info once again!

Thanks

This video really gave me a clear picture of what I should be doing with my time. It was so cool to see the large list dwindle down to the critical few…wow, I’m so pumped up to implement this in my business.

Thanks, Bedros! Awesome content as usual!

Tyron @ 11:34 pm

Awesome Bedros. Thanks for clearing this up. You hear about outsourcing as Val said but now its more clear on WHAT to outsource.

Brillant. Looking for to Project X.

zach even - esh @ 9:45 am

so the first thing ur gonna tell me once we start coaching is to stop training my clients! uh oh!!! ha ha

awesome shizza bruddah!

Bedros @ 11:47 am

Zachster! Yeah man stop training your clients. Sam (aka 7 figure Sam) right above your comment is a coaching client for 3 years now and the first thing I had him do was DROP his clients.

Other trainers can do the technical work… buy THEY can’t market and sell your business as well as you :)

Holly @ 6:54 pm

Great Info - As Always.

:D

David Bohmiller @ 11:57 pm

Awesome video Bedros!

Here’s a tip that I’ve used with several website clients.

If you’re someone comfortable in front of the camera, setup a day to shoot several keyword optimized videos.

Take the vids and send them to someone you trust who can write a well-informed article for each.

Then have your web developer take the video and the article and make them look pretty on your website.

It saves a ton of time and frees you up to do the 5% that you’re talking about….the big levers.

Keep up the great work,
Boh

Hey Bedros
Thanks for the awesome post. Have been doing too many things myself. Now your post gave me a clear indication what I should be focused on.

Thanks for the great tip. I know for myself this will help greatly. I spend way too much time doing those little things that need to be done but do not help my business move forward. When first starting out I know myself that I try to do everything and that often is just doing a bunch of the little stuff and I do not see the growth that could.

Sara Hutniak @ 1:54 pm

Hi Bedros,
Important lessons from the master. Charts are great to fully outline what falls into the “Me” and “Not Me” pile. I’m just learning the art of delegation because it is so easy at the start to think that I have to do everything since I’m the business owner. Not anymore, because in doing that, I ignore the most important aspects that make $ for my business and allow me to focus ON it instead of IN it.
Thanks for the great info.

I understand this video but what if your income as of yet doesn’t allow you to be able to outsource it to someone else to do this work for you. Outsource sounds great when you can pay and get an assistant to do it. But what does the single trainer do who is doing all of this by himself and isn’t in the position to outsource yet. What tips can you share to make this process more simple

Cheers
