If you’re a follower of this blog, a subscriber to my emails or a client or customer - prepare for two cool things coming your way soon. This past weekend at the Fit Body Boot Camp Freedom Workshop in San Diego I spent a ton of time teaching two thing:

1. A closing script and system specifically crafted for boot camp owners and operators.

2. The ONE THING that is the most overlooked and grossly mangled system that personal trainers totally screw up. (Don’t feel bad, I used to totally mess this up too and it was killing my appointment setting and closing BIG TIME… until I discovered the solution.

See, the BIG PROBLEM I’m referring to is when people call you on the phone or email you and want to know more about your business, what you offer and what it costs. THAT’S where it all goes down hill becuase most trainers don’t have a script and so the consultation, trial session (or week) and appointment is NEVER set, and a client is lost.

But here’s the solution. In this video I give you the script to use and teach you how to set the appointment EVERY TIME.

Great Post! The biggest problem I have is people not showing up for the appointments. However I think they might be reluctant to give me their cc# over the phone or email to reserve their spot without knowing me. What do you suggest?

Steven, you should make every attempt to get cc info
But if they are reluctant to give it to you, and
you feel they are qualified, then I’d set the appt
without taking payment info.

I think it is good Bedros because a lot of people over look the basics. I used to tell people I would give them all of there money back even after six months of training if they were not totally satisfied, because I knew if they would train with me that would get great results , so I was not afraid to offer what I believe is the best guarante., Now OBVIOUSLY this works best with people who agree do everything you tell them

Yes, getting into price with a potential client is the kiss of death. Get them in front of you and provide them with a taste of what you do. I love the $1 trial no pressure approach. Heck, we will even give you back the $1 with no hard feelings. That makes the client feel comfortable with you and provides them with the thought that you want them to be successful, satisfied, and comfortable with you.

This is amazing free stuff from Bedros. If you obtain just one or two more clients from the information contained within his products, you would be getting your money back 10X+ over. That is a pretty good return on investment (ROI)!

and you’ll be able to custom your very own HTML script
that can capture CC information.

custom it to your liking, paste it on a site (with its own URL)… and you can tell people that if they don’t feel comfortable doing it over the phone…

to go to this here website. When they say ‘yeah I’ll do that’…tell them ‘cool, I’ll stay on the phone and guide you through it’ (if they have internet access)

or say “at what time should i expect to see the confirmation and can i call you back if i don’t see it at that time?”

I actually did something a little different and did this via
eventbrite.com and it still worked for this appointment I have coming this Monday :) only downfall is that I can’t see his CC info, but he’s made the financial commitment of $1 buck to show up.

if they won’t even give $1 buck for a trial, then they sure as hell won’t budge on paying $200-$500 per month on boot camp or personal training.

@summer, unless you’re promoting a special
program like the 14 day fat flush, you really shouldnt
list your prices anywhere.

This is awesome stuff.

Since I also do online training, I tell clients something like: “well Mrs. Jones it can cost anywhere from $2 a day to xyz a month” if they are “hell-bent” on asking for the price.
