You probably know that Chris McCombs and I are making a documentary film called “add to cart”. It’s about the subculture of Internet marketing (there more to it than that but you’ll have to wait for the movie to come out to see the big surprise).
Over the last two months Chris and I have been all over the nation doing interviews with virtually every top Internet marketer, bloggers, pick up artists (yep, they make a killing online too) and even the Internet porn industry folks.
Anyway… whenever I remembered I would pull my flip cam out in between our production crew setting up and prepping and I’d get some footage to share here on my blog.
The video below is a small mix of some of the biggest names in marketing, blogging, and the pick up world.

Also a lot of great FREE tips these pros gave out, the best one I found was to sell to peoples pain. If you’re helping people lose their pain then don’t feel guilty selling them on it. Enough said!

The timing of everything is insane.. I just re-read my Anthony Robbins materials because I want all my clients to set new 6 month goals for year end…. This tidbit alone will give me the ammunition to communicate why it is so important to have a burning desire to achieve goals.
If you don’t have a big enough burning desire to fill out a form and set goals, how can I help you….

Awesome stuff! I’m definitely looking forward to it. What you hit on at the end with doing what you love and are passionate about and the money coming is so true. All of the speakers tied it in to the same thought process. Prospects buy from people who are enthusiastic and have personality. If you don’t have any interest in what you’re doing or selling, then prospects will see right through that.
Did Billy Mayes love Oxyclean or one of the other hundreds of products he pitched? Maybe, but I’m sure there are a few he wasn’t that interested in. But he was passionate about SELLING. That was his passion and it just rang through.
People get too caught up in what they think is going to give them the best short-term gain. I see people trying to get into FOREX trading and cell phone ringtone sites as an example. If you like that stuff, then have at it. I know that personally I’d have to jack myself up a lot more to build a site on those topics rather than on fitness and power development, which is my passion. Which one is going to make a better career for me and which one will I have a better selling process for? There’s no question.
