What I Rediscovered At The Renegade Fitness Marketing Workshops
I just got back from Austin, Texas where we (Josh Carter and I) ran another Kick Butt Renegade Fitness Marketing workshop (and ate a ton of killer Texas barbequed meat!)
Every weekend in March has been spent in a new city for this tour, and EVERY person we met though out this tour has been super AWESOME!
The Renegade Fitness Marketing tour has really confirmed what I have always believed - that there is no better industry to be working in than the fitness industry. And fitness professionals are the COOLEST people ever!
I’m really grateful for being in the position I’m in and thankful for finding my calling so early in life.
THANK YOU for putting your trust in me and my fitness marketing and business boosting products, services and events!
I think it’s important to be grateful and to take inventory from time to time.
So here’s my gratitude list…
I’m thankful for my wife, Diana who helped me start our empire from the beginning and who still is a very major part in the day-to-day operations around here.
I’m grateful for my team, my business partners, our programmers, and Pete - the guy that you don’t see or hear about often but plays a HUGE part in our organization.
I’m grateful for my mentors - the people who I’ve looked up to and who have given me direction in business and other aspects of life. And I’m grateful to have met so many awesome folks in the fitness industry (too many to name) who I can turn to, brainstorm with, or just to bounce and idea off of.
As the old saying goes; no man is an island - and I’m thankful for the network of experts and friends I’ve met in our industry.
Sometimes we get so caught up in the day-to-day stuff that we forget to celebrate our victories. We forget that others helped us along the way. And we forget that the fitness industry is truly THE best industry to be in - even in a crappy economy.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t see myself doing anything else but this.
Gratitude is important.
Who or what are you grateful for? Let me know below…

Hey Bedros!
Austin is an amazing city! I should know b/c I lived there…and I plan on being back there one day!
Wish I could have been at the workshop.
Where’d you get BBQ? Green Mesquite? One of the Rudy’s? So many places! and so much amazing Tex-Mex! Chuy’s is my fav!
I am grateful for so much…my family, friends, clients, colleagues, fitness pro’s i’ve gotten to know via online networking…hell, i’m grateful just to be where I am today, considering just how plain ignorant and irresponsible I was in the past. I am grateful for realizing I CAN do anything I put my mind to!
Anyhow, the more I learn about fitness marketing, the more i’m grateful for you guys who have basically paved the way for us to learn. I am realizing more and more how I used to be pretty closed-minded about all of this…and felt I could do things on my own…and that’s a crock of horsesh*t! I have a ton more confidence these days and realize I wanna get mine…everyone else is out there doin’ their thing…and ain’t sittin’ around hopin’ things will work out for me too! Yes, I said “ain’t”, lol…I am from Texas, after all!
Keep it up!
Sarah

I am grateful for my husband who supports my ideas and decisions no matter what. I sometimes think he believes in me more than I do myself at times.
I am grateful for my clients. They make me smile and I feel fortunate to be a part of their lives. It is such a pleasure to serve them.
I am grateful for you, Bedros, as you push me to be more and do more (and you also supply me w/a nice newsletter a couple of times a month so I don’t have to come up w/content all the time!).
Thanks,
Becky

Hi Bedros-
Yes we definately should take a moment to be appreciative and grateful. Sometimes life goes so fast that it is important to stop and recognize the efforts of the people around you that aid to your success.
In so many ways I am eternally grateful that I found a family to give me an opportunity to live in this country. If it were not for them I would be living in Mexico City probably selling chickletts or begging for money. So a thousand times thank you. My family backs me up 100% in everything I do. I am so grateful for meeting the love of my life Anthony (my husband). He is my backbone, my best friend, and my soal mate. Hell I am even grateful for my two little pups. They know how to turn a frown upside down. I can not express to you how grateful I am for meeting so many new people in the fitness industry. Mentors and friends alike. And I cannot wait to meet the great Bedros!!!! Keep up the good work man. You are such an inspiration.
Michael Duivis @ 8:46 pm
To live in USA would be my biggest one. I don’t think many realize the opportunities out there. Money is on the floor in this country. Just pick it up.
Gratitude is everything, and wow, I am so blessed. I am so incredibly blessed to have created the opportunity to empower human beings to live and be the absolute best they can be. I am so grateful for all my friends, my wonderful family, my trainers who are awesome and keep my business functioning at top level, my clients whom without, I would have no outlet to extend MY love, knowledge, and expertise nor would I be able to share and be the creative force that I am. There are so many things that I am graeful for it is hard to list it all but the most important is that I am grateful that I have the knowledge to experience life rather than exist as I see so many doing. I LOVE LIFE AND ALL THE AMAZING PEOPLE GOD HAS BROUGHT INTO MY PATH.
BE BLESSED, AS YOU ARE A BLESSING TO OTHERS.
