Bedros,
Great little report there. All the points you made were great… #4 was a really good point that I can appreciate… makes me feel like it’s never too late to excel and stand out.
By the way, you went from point #4 to #6… there was no #5.
Oh one more thing, my total weight loss tally was 90 pounds in 5 months!!! Thanks to you for your inspiration!
Sincerely,
Tom Grow
Bedros, cant’ get it to come up. It downloads but shows a blank screen. Could be my computer, not sure though.
Nevermind, I got it!
A very good, informative article. I am one of the one-on-one trainers who recognize that group training is the way to go & am leaving the one-on-ones for the less informed, and am drawing up my game plan for 2011. If FBBC comes to Portland..I want to be on board!!
Thank you for the valuable information,
Christy
Hey Bedros
Thanks for the 2011 report. Like you said, the 30 minutes personal training and group training are the ways to go. It’s a win-win for fitness pros and consumers.

Good stuff Bedros
I think you’re spot on on niching out and the thinning of the herd - Who wants to go to a general surgeon? A lot of my friends who are trainers are becoming intimidated by the massive strides that we’re making in our niche, a lot of that is thanks to you and Steve, and I see a lot of them going on a trip to “find themselves” and realize that training isn’t for them.
Thanks
-Kian

Here’s prediction #5
My Fit Body Boot Camp location will be full with a waiting list by January 15th. I’m thrilled to be with FBBC and appreciate all you and Steve provide for us.
Right on the Money! But I have a question about #2
I’ve been running Bootcamps for years, I can remember when there where 3 Bootcamps in my area and one of them was by The Colonel that’s on the history channel all the time, any how..if all these Group classes and Bootcamps start coming up (like they have in my area) wouldn’t a high end One on One coach be a USP?
Like now, if someone can’t make one of my Bootcamps I upsell them to a 1-on-1 at 5-10x the price.
If I go to FBS and pay X $$ for a group coaching class (seminar) I know 1 on 1 coaching with you would be 20x more…it has to be worth your while… Same thing, I could go to a Dan Kennedy seminar and see a ton of presenters or pay top$$$ *wait buku money** to hire Dan or Frank K for private coaching.
All very worth it!…so if I want to stay ahead of the game would developing a High End One on On Fitness coaching business where I could charge Premium $$ be the way to go? 50 Bootcampers at $199 per month ($9950)or 10 One on One’s at 2-3k per month each on EFT (20-30k per month)..am I off with this one…it’s late and I need more sleep

Bedros,
Thanks for a great report! I agree with the trends you so insightfully outlined in your report and OMG - there can be no more doing business as usual and niching down in this new economy is key! I would love to be part of FBBC..hope it comes to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2011!
Geneva
Awesome Coach Terry!

Definitely interested in starting a Fit Body Boot Camp!!!! Can’t wait for you to start taking new applicants this winter!!!

The report was great. FBC is the way to go.

Great report. I agree that small group training is far better than 1-1.
Great post B. I like the part about it being a “new” economy. I think that concept should be ingrained in everyone’s minds- especially those that are complaining about it. And for the record, if you arrange a boxing match between a 1960′s fighter and a current one, I’ll bring the popcorn.
I advise all of my clients to watch portion control this time of year. It’s
ok to indulge in some few you might otherwise want to avoid, but have sample
sizes of several different things instead of a huge plateful. I am a
personal trainer in the
Streeterville, Gold Coast and River North areas of Chicago and the 60610 and
60611 zip codes.

You’re not only a Kick A.. trainer, about whom I’ve heard; but, you really ARE a Kick A.. Guy, you know that? Well, yeah! I think you do know it pretty well
LOL
Thanks for the report and all your good stuff ALWAYS ~
Thanks so much for the report, Bedros! You hit the nail on the head when you spoke about getting involved with a niche. One of my professors in the MBA program at Binghamton University (he once owned many businesses and drives a BMW worth more than my house!) always stressed “in niches there are riches.” I’ve gone on to do exactly that by differentiating both my gym and personal training business with huge success! Thanks again for the great report!
Sweet report. Has Starbucks sued you yet?
I love that thought about the new economy. I have been saying that is all a mind set anyhow from the start when everyone started crying about it. Poppycock and fiddlesticks!
Like the part about the niche too. Honing in on that this new year. Thanks for a great report!
@Ben, Starbucks loves me dude
Great info, I’m looking forward to open my first FBBC business in Texas.
Hey Bedros! I want in buddy. Where do I purchase my tickets?
