And The FBS 2010 VIP Winner is
A few days ago I said I was gonna hook someone up with a VIP all access pass and a killer suite for the entire weekend at Fitness Business Summit 2010.
Almost 200 people applied by commenting why they thought they should be the one to win the “hook up”.
There were so many obvious winners…
Truthfully it could have been a fifteen-way tie. But since I could only pick one winner for the hook up… the pressure was on.
In fact I read through all the comments several times. And each time I came to the conclusion that there were at least 15 winners.
This was going to be a hard decision to make…
But in the end, one person’s reason for winning the Fitness Business Summit VIP hook up stood out the most to me.
So without further ado, the person who won the is…

Hey Bedros Aaron Anderson here..
My journey in the health and fitness industry started about 6 years and I’m going to give you a quick back story as to how it started… About 6 years ago I was very overweight unmotivated and a very unhappy negative person…Till one day I was hit with the news that my father had been diagnosed with a life threatening disease…WOW!! this hit me like a ton of bricks right in the face..
I was devastated to say the least.. And the thing that was tough for me to deal with was that it was so easily preventable with just a healthy lifestyle…It was at this moment that would forever change my life….I began to think just how short and precious life really is…The way I saw it was that I was faced with 2 choices..1- keep doing what I was doing and get the same results of being fat and unhappy or get my ass in gear and stop making excuses as to why
I was fat and unhappy…One year later I had lost around 80lbs and completely transformed my life…I had come to realize what my passion in life was, and that passion was health and fitness… Fueled with the passion and motivation to inspire my farther and others to lead a more healthy lifestyle so they can prevent these diseases.. fitness had become an OBSESSION of mine.. So much so I went to college and got a degree in exercise science and got almost every training cert out there…Once I graduated college I said to myself this is it the degree is what I was lacking to be successful..
Boy was I ever wrong.. Then here comes Bedros into my life and all I can is WOW!!! For the last several months I have been glued to the ptpower blog and soaking up all the info on there…And all the other world class people I have got to know through Bedros….Being able to attend the FBS this year would truly be a dream come true…Much like hearing about my fathers situation years ago that fueled me to get into fitness I truly believe that attending FBS will be the fuel for me to go from good to great and allow me to make an awesome living all while living my DREAM!!
Bedros you are a true inspiration and have told me that with some hard work, motivation and a plan of action (Which I don’t have and FBS will give it to me) anything and I mean anything is possible… I want to go from good to great and FBS is the vehicle for me to do that..

Just when I thought there was only going to be one winner I got a call from my buddy Steve Hochman, who said he wanted to sponsor another winner.

But unless I win, I can’t go, because I’ve been unemployed for almost a year now.
Why do I feel like I need to go?
Well the answer is quite simple. I’m running out of money, but I’m sitting on a gold mine that I don’t know how to mine. We talked briefly before about my domain… Kettlebell.com.
Yes, I own Kettlebell.com. And I corner the market on a bunch of other kettlebell and fitness domains.

When I saw the announcement, I right-clicked on the link to get it to open in another window. I thought “Eh. I’ll check it in a minute. I’m sure I didn’t win. I never win anything.”
Then, sure enough, the way I think… I thought on… “Of course, it’d be cool if I did win. That’d be really cool. But I won’t. Oh well. Don’t get excited, Tom.”
I read a couple emails, then I went to the other window and read your post. Sure enough, I didn’t win. But it was ok. I wasn’t surprised… and the guy who one really seemed to need it more and I was happy for him.
Then I kept reading…
“B-U-T we have another winner too…”
My heart skipped a beat and I thought in an instant, “Oooh. Maybe I still have a chance! No wait, don’t get excited… It won’t be me.”
There was an audible gasp. A really loud one, as I read the name Tom. In another instant, I had convinced myself it was a different Tom. Then I saw my post. I was shocked! A very audible gasp, a pause, then another, a pause… it progressed to a “Nah uh! Nah uh! NO WAY!!! TINA! I WON!!! I WON!!!”
My wife understandably thought I lost my mind.
Bedros, thank you soooo much for letting me come to your conference! I’m so genuinely excited! I can’t wait! You don’t know how incredibly much this means to me! I can’t contain my excitement!

Hey congrats Aaron and Tom, 2 deserving guys that really do sound like they have the fire within. I’m thinking there should be one stipulation upon winning this though, along with everyone else that attends this conference: you gotta keep in touch and keep us updated on here with how well your business takes off. I wish I could make it out there this year but dont have the funds right now. I just know there is going to be such a wealth of knowledge being shared out there. I know Bedros and Steve and their crew is just going to unleash a ton of info. I have been fortunate enough to have found them and help me with my business. I coulnt have done it without you all.
When I started out on my own from leaving corporate working for someone else while I trained all the clients and boss man kept all the money, I spent tons of money on marketing ideas I thought would work. 2 and half months I got ONE prospect that I couldnt close. Then I found out about Bedros (facebook ad) put to practice just one idea and got 14 new clients signed up in 4 days!! And I feel like this is just the beginning, thank you all so much for all of your words and inspiration. Keep up the good work. and Bedros, my man, keep it coming, I literally can not wait to check my email everyday to see what more I can learn. Amazing stuff!

Firstly, Congrats to the winners.
Secondly… if you guys and gals aren’t all attending FBS2010 then you must be absolutely mad.
Im from Australia so hadnt really looked into going due to the extra airfare cost. PLUS honestly i thought tickets to FBS would be around $2000-3000, which would be reasonable in my eyes.
Anyway, today i decided to click on the buy now button to check out the price, Amazing, only US$297, thats crazy. Plus they’ve even got a payment plan available.
Is this for real? or am i looking at the wrong thing?
If its true, there are absolutely NO EXCUSES for any fitness professional within the country not to attend. Fair enough?
I tell you what, i’d be all over it if it wasn’t for the damn huge ocean inbetween.
So once again, to the winners congratulations and to the rest of you… get on board.
So when is now a good time to buy your ticket?
