How to Light Your Fire and Get Thing Done

Posted on May 14, 2009 By Bedros

mcI think massive IMIDIATE action taken consistently will get you more of what you want than all the knowledge you can buy.

It’s true.

I know people who buy tons of info products on marketing, selling, productivity, time management, internet marketing, direct response marketing, and technical skills, credentials, certifications, and degrees but are getting their asses handed to them by competitors who are half their age and half as smart…

But they’re hella ambitious, and persistent in all they do and take massive action every opportunity they get.

Don’t get me wrong… info products are great and YOU should own all of mine ☺ but without taking action on’em it’s just useless information.

So I got to thinking.
What motivates me, what makes me so hungry, ambitious, and inspires me to take massive action?

Here’s a list of things that GET ME FIRED UP and force me to get things done.

- My family. I love my wife and kids and I want to spend as much QUALITY time with them as possible so I create and business and income streams that will give me the lifestyle I want.

- I love what I do. My passion is also my work. It’s like getting paid to enjoy your hobby.

- Freedom. I never want to work for the “man” again. I did that at one point in my life and hated it. Nothing like the desire to avoid “pain” to motivate your ass to get things done.

- Hard angry music. When I feel like I need a little pick-me-up I’ll crank up Metallica, Disturbed, Black Sabbath, White Zombie, ACDC, Ice Cube, Eminem, Dre and other hard and angry music.

metallica
- Occasionally I’ll put myself in debt. If you’re an action taker debt will really motivate you. Me and my wife buy as many homes as possible and put them up for rent. This forces us to make enough money where we’d be able to pay the mortgage on all these homes should our properties go empty for a while.

- I set and announce hard deadlines to the world. Last week I announced the Fitness INFO Summit for October 23rd and 24th in Orlando, Florida. The dates have been set and the location has been announced and now I will get my ass to work and make it BLOW up like FBS09!

- Satisfaction of accomplishment. Who doesn’t like this one, right? I love that feeling of starting something and finishing it. That feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction is HUGE for me. You expect that of your clients, right? So why not expect it of yourself?

- A sense of purpose or meaning. I like money just as much as the next person. But for me the bigger motivator is having a sense of purpose - a meaning. I truly feel I’m doing what I was put on this earth to do. And that to me is everything!

That’s what gets me up and at it every morning. These are the things that drive my passion.

I hope you enjoy this video as much as the attendees at FBS did.

What about you… what moves you to action and gets you to get things done?

AWESOME! It was great at FBS09 and it’s great again a couple weeks later! BTW…Massive Action is AWESOME with all of this stuff. I officially launched my boot camp this week and it is rockin! No doubt in my mind that it will be on track for 6 figures in the next month or two and I’m already planning on launching at least 2 more locations! You guys rock! I can’t wait for Fitness INFO Summit! I’ve been writing my ebook and working on my video late at night since the summit and should will launch it at a couple of big events in June & July! Did I mention that Massive Action kicks ass?! I am so pumped because I know that my FBS10 I will be on track for 7 figures and to think that only a month before FBS09 I fired my boss and my company and quit working for the man…and now am 100% confident that my business will continue to grow out of control! If anyone didn’t make it to FBS09…make plans for FBS10 right now and get there!

Thanks again Bedros! The Summit was the best thing that ever happened to me!

Keep the great, motivating content coming!

Bedros,

Great post! I can totally relate to that. Since FBS09 I have been taken massive action on everything we talked about and theres been times where I’ve been so exhausted but I remember how bad I want it. It’s that drive and motivation that has helped me launch a successful boot camp (which is growing every day), working on my 1st magazine article, and launching 3 major products (1 for fitness professionals thats gonna blow their minds), and more a local celebrity image.

The key to all trainers is to remember if you aren’t in this industry to be the best your better off stuck at some corporate gym as a regular floor trainer.

Bedros,
You always inspire! Sometimes I get overwhelmed with where I want to be, but then I just keep taking those small steps. You are so right about ‘taking action’. Lots of times it’s those small steps that lead to your goal. Thanks for all your motivation and info!
Shawna

Thats for the awesome feedback everyone.

I kinda feel like the more people I can pump up and motivate the more I get pumped up and motivated.

Bedros…the video rocked but the content in it stole the show.

The words you speak always freakin’ make sense and you’re not afraid to share it. That’s what makes you different.

I’ve had some great success since I’ve come home from FBS ’09 to the tune of $60,000 extra a year and things are about to kick way up to another level.

Ready…Fire…Aim!!!

Thanks man!
