How to Get More Done Every Day

Being an entrepreneur is the greatest lifestyle in the world…but it’s not a walk in the park.

Most people think there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything that you want or need to do.

As an entrepreneur, you don’t get to complain about that. In fact, you don’t even get to hold that belief. You need to MAKE time for the things that matter and cut out or delegate the things that don’t.

Letting unfinished responsibilities build up and fester is how businesses fail. You need to learn to prioritize your day-to-day tasks, delegate tasks, and build systems into your business.

no time ?THAT is how you create more time…and this is important for your mental health as well.

Listen, your mental health is important, that’s something I have first-hand experience with as a business owner.

Having a schedule and knowing where you’re going and when is a great way to cut the anxiety and uncertainty out of your life.

For example, I run my franchise business, Fit Body Boot Camp, along with multiple coaching programs, I do high-end private coaching, I speak at events at least once a month, and I’m doing phone interviews and webinars constantly.

Does that sound like total chaos to you?

It’s not.

As an entrepreneur, I know how to figure out my priorities and focus in on them without letting the pressure overwhelm me.

I have the personal discipline to put the important things first and I have a team to help me streamline and organize everything.

So, today I’m going to share with you some of the ways that I keep my life organized so that I can keep GSDing every day.

I Get Up Earlier

Every day I go to sleep at the same time, and every morning I wake up early. This set routine keeps me feeling good and allows me to prepare for the rest of the day before life tries to throw a bunch of chaos at me.

Here’s what my morning looks like:

I wake up, I work out in my home gym, and then I spend an hour answering emails before anyone else is awake.

By doing this I allow myself to get a jumpstart.

If you wait to get going you’ll get overwhelmed easily, so you need to beat the work to the punch.

This time spent in the morning getting my work done also allows me to spend time with my family as they get ready for the day.

As an entrepreneur you can’t let your relationships with family burn out. That will just add unnecessary stress into your life, which will then bleed in to your business.

See, by having your routine down and organized, you set yourself up to have a clear head and dominate every single day.

And remember: a set routine can actually alleviate anxiety, because you know what you’re doing and when, so you’re not feeling rushed or like you’re trying to cram too much in.priority stamp

I Prioritize

Every day I go in to my work knowing what is most important. I focus on these things and don’t let any outside distractions bring me away from them.

This is the Idea Fairy trying to bring you away from your set path. There is a straight line that you need to stick to in order to succeed, and the Idea Fairy is right there, flying around your head with other things you could do, but you have to ignore it.

If you stray off your path, you’ll find yourself lost and way off track wondering what happened and why your business is suddenly struggling.

If your business needs more incoming clients, then hone your marketing funnels. If you aren’t closing enough clients, then read five books on sales techniques and apply what you learn.

Figure out the most important needs of your business and don’t back down until you have them dialed in.

The 5% Rule

The 5% rule is one all business owners should be living by.

Every person has their 5% that they absolutely excel at. Maybe it’s sales, or social media, or email marketing. Whatever it is that YOU excel at is what you need to focus on each day.

Listen, if you’re running a successful business but you’re still personally trying to clean the bathrooms every night, set up new workouts AND bring on new clients to train, you’re going to burn out.

That’s why you delegate tasks to others.

Hire someone to clean your facility so you can focus on creating your next big offer.

Hire someone to run your sessions and come up with new routines for you so you can focus on calling up old clients and getting them back.

Whatever it is that you as a business owner excel at, that’s the only thing you should be focusing on.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI Plan Everything

Well, technically my assistant does, and she sorts through all the tasks that show up suddenly every day. If you can’t get an assistant yet, then you need to get a planner.

Nothing should be falling through the cracks. You are a business owner; you have people counting on you to keep everything together and running smoothly.

Meticulously plan out your day, and don’t stray from that plan.

If you can learn to discipline yourself to set and follow a schedule, you’ll find that your mind is clearer and your work is better.

Suddenly you’re not spending half of your time trying to remember what phone call you’re supposed to be on in the next few minutes. You know where you need to be and when.

Disorganization and anxiety can ruin a business. All it takes is a leader with no direction and the whole mission gets lost.

So, find your direction, and stick to it, and you’ll see that you get more done in a day than you thought you could.

Stay organized.

Stay on track.

You’ll become more successful and dominate every day.

Committed to your success,

Bedros
