Don’t you wish you could charge whatever you’d like and still win the lion’s share of the market?
You can, and I’m going to teach you the formula right here. You have to have omnipresence, meaning you’re everywhere, all the time.
I like to call my strategy the “5,4,3,2,1” formula. Every week, you’ll send out 5 social media posts, 4 videos, 3 emails, 2 text messages, and 1 promotional offer.
How to Post on Social Media
I don’t ever want you to have an inactive Facebook or Instagram account.
That’s the worst thing ever. When people see a date that’s four months old, that tells them that the person is dated, out of style, and no longer en vogue.
Heck, I don’t care if you post on your fan page or your personal page, or whether your fan page should be your business name or your personal name.
It doesn’t fucking matter.
You know what matters? That you have a fan page and a personal page and you post on one or the other five times a week. If you have an Instagram account, you should be posting on there too.
What are you posting? Stuff that answers this question: “What’s in it for me?”
I once was a fat and out of shape teenager. So many people claimed to have a solution for my weight, but all I ever wanted to know was, “What’s in it for me?”
Every post needs to answer that question.
Shoot Quality Videos—No Film Crew Required
Four videos a week. You might come at me with the ol’, “Ah Bedros, I don’t know what to post.”
Sure you do!
If you could put up five posts a week, then four of those could be videos.
Just take your iPhone and start in the parking lot and go, “Hey this is (your name), and here we are at 5 AM at (the name of your business).”
Then you walk in and give them a taste of your gym. The music’s going, people are knocking out burpees, they’re doing their thing…
You then give them a call to action. Something like, “If you want to come in and try three free workouts, just go to (your website) and get three free workouts on the house. You can be in here tomorrow morning.”
Guess what Facebook does? Since Facebook wants to send you customers, they’ll rebroadcast that video all day long. If you post it to your fan page, you can boost the post to show more people.
Add Value to People’s Lives
If you use FitPro Newsletter, you’ll gain access to five years of articles that you can email out three times a week. We’re talking workouts, recipes, etc, AND it also reminds them to come in for a workout, to share that content with a friend. It even auto posts on Facebook for you.
It helps you be everywhere, all the time. Click here to sign up for FitPro today.
As for texting, 100% of the time the stuff you send via text should be a pump-up. Never text your clients offers, I’m telling you that right now.
People ask, “Well how have you been texting me all weekend”?
I use Skipio. Write this down: fitnesstexting.com. That’s the best program to use to text your clients.
But at the end of the day, people don’t care about your business, about your certification, about your education, or about your brand. That’s a hard pill to swallow because, to us, our businesses are our babies. All they want to know is “What’s in it for me?”
You only have the right to ask for their money once you’ve come to them with a giving hand.
Always remember that.
Committed to your success,
Bedros
