[...] 4. The Human Billboard Army. This one is simple and it works best if you do boot camps and group training. Basically you're going to have an army of local people (who are connectors) refer you leads in exchange for training. My buddy Steve Hochman created this system. You can watch this video where he explains the entire HB marketing system. [...]

Dawn, every 3 months there is a month with 5 weeks in it so in a 3 month period you actually have 13 weeks. you need to account for this when doing an eft monthly based pricing structure.

Hey guys,

this is great stuff....just curious if someone checked your math (accountants love to test me on my math:-)....I undertstand the 52 weeeks a year idea and never really thought of it before, but makes since and is true. However, what if someone says "wait, i'm doing 3 days a week x's say $35 a session x's 4 weeks a month, that is $420 where are you getting $455?

I know it's not a big difference in money but I DO have these people that I train with and they ARE accountants. (only one hassles me when I come up with pricing stuff.

Hey Steve and Bedros.

I trained at Steve's gym in Irvine, CA and I can't believe you guys are offering these tips for FREE. I signed up over 50 clients in about 45 days at Steve's gym. I had just moved from NM to CA and had $600 in my pocket. Steve is the first guy in my life who really motivated me to be positive, help groups of people, and to give a ton expecting only a little or nothing in return.

I seriously would have never made six-figures if it wasn't for Steve and Bedros.

Bedros, I have been reading your blog for years, but have never commented. I am glad to see that you Steve, and Chris McCombs are doing so much for trainers!

The trainers who this won't work for are the ones who think they already have it figured out. I followed Steve's advice and just got started immediately. I seriously went straight from Steve's gym to the mall and recruited my 20 walking billboards that moment.

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I love watching these videos they give so much good information im having a hard time figuring out which ones to implement first!
I plan on using these methods, duh, for my business but when steve was talking about the beginning list of 50 people. i thought, well im new to my area and most of my contacts are too far away to take part in my training head on. so i thought, how can i use this to my advantage... well duh high tech trainer! im going to use pretty much the same method for htt but with more than 50 beginning names... i guess my question is has anyone else tried this with HTT and how did it go...

again thanks so much for all you do,

ps FBS ROCKED cant wait for next year... steves lil costume was hilarious

Most trainers who are getting into PT and bootcamps are people who are not social butterflies. So knowing 50 people who have money will take 1-2 years to develop.

They want to make money and they try to figure out how to do what they love, then they find out that people dont like to pay and workout!

Pay to workout! No way Jose.
HAHA.

Point: Save your money and if you do go into business, do things that people are used to seeing. Like start a nice, clean, and beautifully designed yoga studio, where people can relax or alternatively get excited about coming to. Find examples of prominent fitness business owners, copy their success in the area that you have chosen to research. This is the best way to learn how to start a business.

A remember, IT TAKES $ to MAKE $.

Unless of course you think you have a PHENOMENAL/THOUGHT OUT/BREAKTHROUGH idea for a bootcamp and a yearly, substantial, marketing budget with a list (local email/spam is somewhat effective).

Im not trying to be a butthead. Im just warning some of you folks before you blow your credit and savings.

Also, for the record, Im glad I met Bedros online. He has a great attitude and motivates people to do their best.
