What’s Your Passion?

In “think and grow rich” author Napoleon Hill says that having a burning desire to attain what you want transcends everything else.

I agree 100%.

In fact I believe that if you want to be successful, and by that I mean being in the top 2% in your industry then you must have a burning desire to succeed and a driving passion to achieve your specific goals.

Case in point: My driving passion is financial~freedom. Specifically it’s having the ability for me and my family to do what we want, when we want, for as long as we want.

As far as I can remember I’ve always had a burning desire to succeed. It’s been my dominating obsession. It’s my driving passion.

What’s your passion?

What do you have a burning desire to achieve?

If you don’t know what it is you’ve got to find it.

It will keep you on track and motivated.

It will lift you up in sluggish times.

It will empower you to achieve your dreams faster.

And it will renew your dedication when you’re staring failure in the face.

A general goal is not good enough. You’ve got to be specific – laser like focused – IF you want to be in the top 2% of your industry.

Otherwise you’re just another personal trainer.

Recently at a workshop that I was speaking at I asked a personal trainer sitting in the front row to tell me what his business goal was.

He said; it’s simple to generate $1,000,000/year.

I followed up by asking him the following question: How much would you have to earn each month, week, and day to achieve you’re million dollar goal?

He was clueless.

His goals were way too general.

I should know. I once had the same goal. Only mine was specific and I was obsessed by it.

You want to earn a million dollars in the next year?

You need to generate $83,333.33 in monthly sales.

You need to generate $20,833.33 in weekly sales.

And you need to generate $4,166.66 in daily sales (assuming a five day work week)

For me, I knew exactly how many consultations I needed each day to achieve my daily sales goals. And with that – I did.

Even today, for each and every single one of my businesses and ventures I have specific goals and a burning desire to achieve them.

The choice is yours – define your burning desire, find your driving passion and use it to live your dreams. Or stumble through life hoping that by chance you’ll land a few new clients and make it through another month.
